AIA Spiritline Course Registration - Instructions

A school's Spiritline team will NOT be allowed to stunt, tumble or compete during the season of activity until ALL Spiritline/Cheer/Pom coaches (paid or volunteer, head coach, assistant coach, varsity, JV, Freshman, etc.) are AACCA Safety Certified (with proof provided) and the coaches have attended a NFHS Spirit Rules Interpretation Course. Coaches are to take the required NFHS Interpretation courses through the AIA.


  • AACCA Safety Certification is valid for FOUR YEARS (Cost: $75).
    • This course must be taken online at www.nfhslearn.com
    • ALL coaches must send an electronic copy of their certification to the AIA Spiritline Tournament Coordinator at spirit@aiaonline.org
  • NFHS Spirit Rules Course must be taken EVERY YEAR (Cost: FREE).
    • This course will be provided at the annual coaches conference.

NOTE: All Spiritline coaches MUST also take the NFHS Concussions in Sports FREE online course at www.nfhslearn.com. (This is a one time completion course)

Instructions
  • Sign up for the annual coaches conference in which the NFHS Rules Interpretation will be taught.
  • Complete the AACCA Safety Course online and forward your certificate.
  • Keep in mind that your team will NOT be allowed to stunt/tumble or compete (from the first week of football practice) until ALL Spiritline coaches have taken the two required courses and completed the Concussions in Sports online course.
  • NOTE: If you are already AACCA Safety Certified, email a copy of your certificate to the AIA Spiritline Tournament Coordinator at spirit@aiaonline.org
